"CUSTOM WORKS ZON"さんへ。
今日は暖かく天気も良かったので滋賀へ向かいました。
当方の住む桑名市から、滋賀にある"カスタムワークス・ゾン"さんへは片道50kmほど。今や「世界のZON」と言っても過言ではない、誰もが認める有名ショップです。
当方が語るのは烏滸がましい限りですが、その手腕はジャンルに捉われることなく、どんな車両でも独創的な世界観を有しています。なのに個々の車両はオリジナリティーに溢れており、毎回新鮮なカスタマイズが施されていて見るものを惹きつけるものがあるのではないかと思います。
一見すると当店とZONさんでは共通するところがひとつも無い、という気もしますが(笑)、同業者様にあまり知り合いの多くない当方には自分とはかけ離れた世界にいるショップさんにはとても惹かれます。
そして何よりZONさんは、お二人の人柄と、仕事(=商売)に対峙する姿勢に多々共感するところがあり、仲良くさせて頂いている次第でして、とても有り難く思っています。
ZONさんへの道のりは牧歌的で、如何にも日本の里、という風景の中を走ります。とても好きな道です。
で、ZONさんで当方のレーサーを下ろしました。
トライクの横にボンネビル・レーサーがある、というのも何だか不思議な感じですが、そこはいかにもZONさんと当店のオリジナリティが垣間見れるようで素敵ではないかと、、
来年のボンネビルに向け、ZONさんに是非ともご依頼したかった”造りモノ”があった為、今回無理を言ってお願いを致しました。ご無理を聞いて頂き誠に有難う御座います。
という訳でしばらくレーサーはZONさんにお預かりして頂きます。

The one-way trip from Kuwana City where I live to "Custom Work ZON" in Shiga is around 50 km. It is no exaggeration to say "ZON in the world" now, it is a famous custom shop that everyone recognizes.
As far as I can tell you, the skill is not limited to genre, and every custom motorcycles has a unique view of the world. But each motorcycles is full of originality, and I think there is something that attracts you with fresh customization every time.
At first glance, our shop and ZON seem to have nothing in common, but since I don't know many people in the same industry, I am very attracted to a shop in a far away world from me.
Above all, ZON has a lot of sympathy with the personality of the two of you and your attitude to face the work (= Business), and I am very grateful that you are getting along with each other...
